yesterday I had a combined product and people shoot with Mexican artist and painter Sarah Köhl in the wonderful atmosphere of the tower at the Stadtwald in northern Germanys Hansestadt Bremen. After I had picked up Sarah at the railway station in Bremen, coming from Düsseldorf, where she headed from Mexico via Los Angeles. We then drove to the Bürgerpark, precisely to the northern end and the little lake in the Stadtwald with its beautiful old tower. Sarah unpacked her beautiful paintings and we started to take photos of her paintings as well as of herself together with her paintings. We were more than lucky with the weather. The sun provided us a beautiful light around the old tower, so that I could take most of the photos without any additional light. I used my Sony Alpha 58 changing in-between the Tamron DI SP 2.8/70-200 and the Sony DT 1.8/50 lenses, so I had a good combination for close ups as well as near distance portraits. Just one photo, the favorite of Sarah by the way, was taken with a Sony DT 3.5-5.6/18-55 lens to manage to get the complete tower on the picture together with Sarah and her paintings. It was a really nice shoot and I'm glad, that Sarah asked me to do the photos for her promotion tour in Europe. I wish her all the luck for a good tour throughout Europe and hope, she will find a huge group of interested people to have a look at her wonderful paintings.
