It’s the first time for me to be exhibited in Sweden, the country where I'm living. And this with a picture, that was taken in January 2019 looking from the beach to the west Swedish archipelago. I really love the archipelago with its thousands of beautiful small islands, the rough nature and the large variety of animals.
With the theme 'our amazing planet' photographers were asked to show off their skills and celebrate the earth from animals and nature to the impact of humankind. A selection of commended images including one of my images will be exhibited at the Kontrast Galleri, Stockholm, an independent gallery devoted to documentary photography. The exhibition will take place in the time from December 3rd to 6th 2020.
Photographers were asked to explore the concept of "Photogenic", the realm of visual appeal and compositional intrigue. Thanks to fantastic model Anna Wrennfors my photo made place 29 of about 80000 pictures and therefore will be printed and showcased in the "Photogenic" exhibition at Gallery Gora in the city of Montreal, Canada in the time from November 19th to 21st 2020.
The photo was taken on a stairway up to Skansen Kronan in Gothenburg, Sweden just a month ago. I used a Sony A68 with my favorite lens for Sony Alpha, the Tamron SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD. Settings have been F2.8 | ISO100 | 200mm | 1/320s with HSS. For the lighting I used a Godox AD200, that was placed at the upper right side.
Thanks to model Anna Wrennfors for her amazing performance during our shoot. It's always a pleasure to work with Anna.
