I'm proud to announce, that another of my photos will be exhibited during the next days.
This picture of model Linda Kristoffersson will be shown in the Qlick Gallery, Amsterdam, Netherlands in the time from November 8 to November 10.
I like to thank Linda for her amazing performance and this despite the cold weather she had to endure during our shoot on an early Sunday morning. Thanks also to her agency Cosmodels for the good collaboration.
I'm proud to announce, that another of my photos will be exhibited this year.
This picture of models Franziska Funke and Lina Spreemann will be shown in the Valid World Hall in Barcelona, Spain in the time from 1st to 3rd of November 2019. I like to thank both the models for their great performance and the fun shoot we had in Hamburg in the beginning of this year.
I took this photo of model Lisa Hibbeler last week on a dreary and rainy day, sent it in to Streetfashion Magzzine for a feature about Lisa and uploaded it also on GuruShots.
As a very nice surprise the photo today was on the cover October of https://www.streetfashion-magzzine.com and also won the GuruPic in the Fashion Photography challenge, what brought me to the highest possible level - Guru.
Thanks to Guru Jean-Francoise Faure for choosing my photo and special thanks to model Lisa Hibbeler for doing an incredibly good job.
Since some of my friends living in this beautiful city, I'm very happy, that one of my photos will be showcased at the Laurent Gallery in the artsy part of Melbourne, Australia.
The exhibition will take place in the time from September 20th to September 22nd.
Special thanks to model Lina Brandt.
I'm really proud, that again one of my photos will be exhibited.
This picture of model Lina Brandt will be shown in the Ravnikar Gallery, in the heart of beautiful Ljubljana, Slovenia, starting with the opening event September 27th until September 29th.
Beginning of August we had two models from Germany to visit us. We had a very nice time with models Franziska Funke and Lina Spreemann, of whom i took a lot of photos during our common time here in the beautiful area of Bohuslän.
Even our guesthouse is still under construction, we were able to accommodate them in one of our guest rooms and I think, they were absolutely satisfied with it.
After we've met in Hamburg in the beginning of this year and we had a fun time together, I invited them to join us for some days at our place.
To get some more photos for their article in Streetfashion MagZZine, we started with some photos in Bohuslän's nature and went to see the picturesque village of Mollösund directly at the seaside.
On our second day we visited the castle in Marstrand and captured Franzi and Lina in the castle's vaults as well as the outside areas of the fortress.
After that we had some fun during a guided kayak trip at Bohus Kajak in the village Stocken on the island of Orust.
After a shooting break on our third day, that was used to simply relax on the terrace we on our third day decided to do some pictures on the rocks at the seaside of the west Swedish archipelago with all it's little islands.
In the afternoon we then went over to do a car shoot on our driveway.
Our fifth and last day we used for a trip to Gothenburg and the interesting area Majorna with all it's possibilities and locations at the shore of the Göta river.
Thanks to both of the models, Franzi and Lina, for having so much fun and getting so many good photos out of our common time.
yesterday I had a combined product and people shoot with Mexican artist and painter Sarah Köhl in the wonderful atmosphere of the tower at the Stadtwald in northern Germanys Hansestadt Bremen.
After I had picked up Sarah at the railway station in Bremen, coming from Düsseldorf, where she headed from Mexico via Los Angeles. We then drove to the Bürgerpark, precisely to the northern end and the little lake in the Stadtwald with its beautiful old tower.
Sarah unpacked her beautiful paintings and we started to take photos of her paintings as well as of herself together with her paintings. We were more than lucky with the weather. The sun provided us a beautiful light around the old tower, so that I could take most of the photos without any additional light. I used my Sony Alpha 58 changing in-between the Tamron DI SP 2.8/70-200 and the Sony DT 1.8/50 lenses, so I had a good combination for close ups as well as near distance portraits. Just one photo, the favorite of Sarah by the way, was taken with a Sony DT 3.5-5.6/18-55 lens to manage to get the complete tower on the picture together with Sarah and her paintings.
It was a really nice shoot and I'm glad, that Sarah asked me to do the photos for her promotion tour in Europe. I wish her all the luck for a good tour throughout Europe and hope, she will find a huge group of interested people to have a look at her wonderful paintings.
The first of these four photos, taken by me, was selected by GuruShots to be showcased as part of the "memorable portraits" exhibition at the Palazzo ca’ Zanardi during the Venice Biennale in June 2019.
I like to thank everybody of the participating photographers for voting my photos, so that I had the opportunity to be showcased at this famous exhibition during Venice Biennale 2019.
A big thanks also to my models Leah Kasem and Lina Brandt.
about two weeks ago I had a short-term appointment for a shoot in Hamburg for Streetfashion MagZZine. Indeed there were two models and it appeared to be a really amazing shoot with these two beauties, even we had to start in the early Sunday morning.
I like to show you two of the photos, we have done this morning to showcase how to use urban backgrounds to expose the models.
Also I show you the original photos (the two smaller photos in the middle) and the edited version for you to see how to highlight the colors. The editing for the photos was done with the free version of Photoscape. So for those, who just start off in photography: You don't always have to pay for your editing software to get good results. Hope you enjoy. Have a nice weekend.
So don't wonder, if you see some goose bumps on Paula's skin, when you look at her on the photos. Paula for sure was freezing, cause I had to force her to stay in the shadow most of the time not to have too much sun on the photos, what can happen very easily, if you choose lunchtime for a shoot. Never the less she did an amazing job and I really love the results. On these photos we used a construction area in the near of the promenade. Have a look and get an impression yourself.
